The Holly Springs Hawks were undefeated in their second tournament of the year, beating the Cleveland Indians (twice, Saturday and Sunday) 9-0, 7-4, the Durham Indians 11u team 11-1, and the Carolina Heat 7-0. The Carolina Heat is a major USSSA team, so beating them is a feather in the teams cap. Winning this tournament makes the Hawks eligible for the World Series Tournament in this league.
