Justin Hits a Home Run in the WR Tournament Game

Justin’s West Raleigh U11 team, Franz Automotive, played double header tournament games today. In the double elimination tournament for the West Raleigh spring season, they had already lost one game. A second loss would have ended their tournament hopes. Instead, they rallied to win their first game, beating the Joe Toms team 14 to 7, a team they had not beaten during their two meetings during the regular season. In order to win the tournament, they beat the same team again in the second game. Justin hit a home run in the fifth inning of the second game to tie the score at 4 to 4. In the sixth inning, Josh Maciejewski hit his third home run to surge Franz ahead at 7. The Joe Toms put on a surge, but were unable to complete it and the game ended with Franz winning 7 to 6.
