Hawks win USSSA Global Sports World Series Silver Bracket

The Hawks got off to a slow start in the USSSA World Series, with a 2-2 record in pool play Thursday and Friday. They continued their slow start on Saturday to loose the first game which moved them from the Gold level bracket into the Silver level bracket. At that point the Hawks woke up and started to play like the team we know, beating the next team. The final game was a rematch of the State Tournament game against the Canton River Dogs. The Hawks convincingly won that game for the silver championship trophy. They are now ranked as the #1 AAA 12U team in North Carolina, and the #2 team in the country.
